Job Description: Position Overview/Project Details:
This position will be part of the Revenue Integrity “ Charge Capture team.
Captures (enters) appropriate charges for drug administration, procedure, and clinic services performed in the clinic and infusion areas.
Audits accounts for appropriate documentation on infusion, injection, procedures or clinic visits.
Coordinates or performs the correction of accounts with missing, incorrect or duplicate charges.
Reviews outpatient accounts for accuracy prior to coding.
Refers questionable accounts to the Manager for assistance.
Minimum Qualifications &
Experience:
3 years minimum Hospital experience in the Revenue Cycle (example : Charging, Billing, Coding, Revenue Integrity)
EPIC Hospital Billing/Charging/Coding experience, preferred
2 “ 3 years minimum Facility (Hospital) experience for infusion /injection / clinic charging
Knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines related to drug administration charging, including bundling/unbundling of charges.
Working knowledge of electronic health record organization and medical record documentation.
Experience with billing systems and account structure.
Working knowledge of medical terminology.
Minimum Education:
Post High School or equivalent
Coding and Billing Education Program preferred. CPC or COC certification preferred.

Schedule: 8am “ 430 pm (Pacific Time) Monday “ Friday

Position Comments: Hospital Infusion and Clinic Charging experience necessaryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
