The Inventory Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and audits Receive, unpack, and label incoming inventory shipments Organize and store inventory in designated locations Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to reorder supplies as needed Perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly Assist in the implementation of inventory management best practices and procedures Coordinate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests in a timely manner Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all inventory-related activities Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity in the inventory management process
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus Prior experience in inventory control or a related field preferred Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment Physical stamina to lift and move heavy inventory items as required Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs Job Types:
