Job Description:
Provides and promotes brewery safety leadership to deliver enhanced safety assurance according to local and federal OSHA standards. This person is responsible for deploying, implementing, and leading the Health and Safety agenda for the manufacturing facility by supporting the Management team with integration of prevention, workers compensation and regulatory compliance into everyday work life. Engages leaders and employees of the brewery in a way that improves plant performance by reducing the risk of safety incidents and providing tools and systems that deliver health and safety performance. Provides advisory and consultative services to brewery personnel to support operational ownership of healthy and safe work practices and regulatory compliance. The person is expected to provide collaborative, proactive, and creative problem solving ability to develop best-in-class Health and Safety programs for the improvement of the overall Health and Safety strategy.
Provide leadership and direction in implementing EHS the MolsonCoors Way, Environmental, Health and Safety Management System that will deliver employee engagement activities to build internal capability and drive towards injuries and illnesses reduction.
Facilitates and leads the brewery?s efforts in safety education, enforcement, engineering, behavior and cultural focus. Supports the safety culture process by consistently demonstrating and promoting caring, leadership, trustworthiness, visibility and integrity in their implementation of safe, systemic work practices. Leads teams focused on specific safety issues within the brewery and brewery-wide initiatives. Develops and implements local safety programs, policies and procedures for the purpose of prevention of injuries, illnesses and near misses.
Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure safety and quality of MillerCoors products.

Education and experience
+ BS or BA in safety, engineering, or related field; Advanced degree preferred
+ Minimum of 6 years experience in manufacturing leading and improving safety performance and regulatory compliance
+ Certified Safety Professional (CSP) status preferred.
Skills and knowledge
+ Requires in-depth knowledge of OSHA and local, state regulations, accident investigation and analysis, process safety management programs, human factors engineering, worker?s compensation practices, industrial hygiene, labor relations, non-discriminatory work practices and interviewing techniques.
+ Working knowledge of MillerCoors Manufacturing Way (MCMW) concepts.
+ Demonstrates solid employee relations, experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
+ Lead the development and implementation of the Health and Safety Annual operating plan and Health and Safety action plans for the site
+ Demonstrate professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader by influencing all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement in safety performance
+ Exercise a leadership, coordination, and communication role with the location leadership to drive continuous improvements across the site.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
