Position Summary:
This position will lead and direct the following supply chain functions: inbound and logistics, warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, capacity planning, master scheduling, inventory control, OR materials management, mailroom, print shop, patient transportation, as well as enterprise strategic planning for supply chain management. This position will provide leadership and direction on a cross functional basis.
This position provides high touch, single point of accountability to drive and lead supply chain operations while ensuring strategic alignment, innovation and operational excellence are achieved. This position is responsible for the management of the supply chain management KPI scorecard, delivering on strategic business priorities, customer service, work force administration, ROIC, and Inventory.
The incumbents will be initiating a three to five year journey to transform City of Hope??????s supply chain from fragmented multiple supply operators to a world-class high performing supply chain. This position will be responsible for implementing standardized best practices and influencing their development across the total supply spectrum from demand forecasting to purchasing, to replenishment, inventory management, warehousing, distribution and transportation/logistics for internal and/or from third party providers.
This position will ensure the integration of supply chain activities across the region leading to optimal customer service, product supply, inventory investment and cost. It will be responsible to help develop a materials planning function for goods and materials, create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process. It will also work in collaboration with the collective Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and others to identify standard tools needed to implement planning and forecasting, as well as lead reengineering efforts as it relates to those supply chain processes and systems across the regions. In particular, this role, while requiring solid overall supply chain management understanding and expertise, may focus on transportation/fleet management, freight optimization, warehousing, and distribution functions.
Essential Functions:
Manages the activities of all functions involved in the, warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the delivery of requested goods to COH end users.
Manages inventory and establishes controls to ensure COH is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
Where necessary, develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class supply chain operation.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
Oversees the hospital's vendor management program to ensure vendors are credentialed and approved to be on site at any COH facility, including OIG, stark letter, contract and non-contract verification.
Support the continued efforts to optimize the ERP system and as well as associated business processes.
Establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment.
Leads development of a market-wide strategy of policies and procedures in-stock inventory warehousing, purchasing, inventory control, receiving, distribution, material processing, and product returns.
Responsible for benchmarking and identifying best practices and opportunities across leading healthcare institutions, establish communications and operational business plans to address these needs and pursue the opportunities, while measuring and reporting progress.
Ensures employees comply with the company and client/system policies and procedures, and establishes best practices market-wide across the supply chain.
Promotes a customer-focused orientation toward supply chain operations; promotes a collaborative culture between supply chain organization and all end users.
Develop optimization roadmap and implementation plan for all point of use systems (Pyxis, Pitney Bowes, Epic Patient Transportation, etc.).
Engage in operational optimization engagements with our end users who are not fully aligned with our standard recommendations for enterprise solutions workflow.
Continuous Improvement - develop and install ways of working which create year-on-year continuous improvements across the total supply chain.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
BS Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.(Experience may substitute)
Minimum Experience:
10-15 years progressive experience in operational and supply chain related roles.
Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
Proven leadership skills in building and managing large teams with a history of success in executing strategic business initiatives.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
