We support this effort by working to meet customer expectations. Customer Service is dedicated to operational excellence and innovative thinking through our workforce in our call center, field operations, billing and payment center, outage and demand-side management and other service offerings
Position Overview:
SCE has an exciting new Account Management position managing strategic relationships in the evolving market of Community Choice Aggregation (CCA).This account management role has the unique responsibility of engaging Cities and Counties, and Joint Powers Authorities in pursuing Community Choice Aggregation. The focus of this role will be to enable customer choice for all CCA programs throughout our territory. The primary responsibility will be to serve as the liaison for internal stakeholders and external parties while integrating activities that will ensure a positive shared customer experience for customers participating in Community Choice Aggregation. The Account Manager will be one of the faces of the CCA effort which embodies an ever-changing dynamic requiring the individual to be able to think innovatively, communicate effectively, and successfully manage the outcomes for a diverse stakeholder group.
Typical Responsibilities:
+ Manage all third party CCA relationships that require significant customer care engagement and successful handling to influence outcomes of potentially significant impact to the company, regulatory and legislative proceedings, and/or policies.
+ Proactively identify and resolve complex CCA issues, often of a political or sensitive nature and without an established precedent.
+ Work with CCA stakeholders and third parties including local government, billing agents, highly influential and/or politically involved industry/trade associations on issues to deliver company programs and activities that serve the needs of our shared end-use customers. This activity includes collaboratively resolving issues both internally and externally, while preserving constructive relationships with CCAs and third party vendors.
+ Frequent contact with CCA executive management and third party vendors to consult, recommend, negotiate, and identify solutions.
+ Routine internal contact with all levels of management, including department heads and vice presidents, to disseminate information, and influence policy direction in the CCA landscape.
+ Provides functional direction to Company personnel to address CCA/Company issues.
+ Assess the organizational, strategic, and process implications of the client organization to develop appropriate and practical recommendations or solutions for CCA implementation and operational activities.
+ Prepare an annual strategic plan for CCA customer activities consistent with the SCE and BCD business plan and corporate objectives.
+ Continuously monitor and assess the competitive environment in order to effectively navigate market dynamics and maintain effective customer business plans to manage the CCA relationships and ensure a positive experience for our shared end-use customer.
+ Educate senior officers and executives on sector-specific issues, opportunities, trends, and developments.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field
+ Possesses seven or more years of experience in sales or account management
+ Broad knowledge of community choice aggregation, third party demand response providers, electrical theory, energy systems, and environmental technologies
Desired Qualifications:
+ Master?s Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related discipline
+ Thorough knowledge in financial/ economic analysis, pricing, and sales
+ Demonstrated experience providing recommendations and innovative solutions that anticipate customers? needs
+ Demonstrated experience developing and presenting ideas and information to large groups and/or difficult or sophisticated internal/external audiences, and influencing decision makers
+ Thorough knowledge and experience with key energy industry issues such as utility rates, regulated utility processes, and the rules and regulations governing the energy industry

+ The primary work location for this position is Irwindale, CA

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
